All AJC Hatchets are made from heat treated drop forged carbon steel.  Handles are made from the highest grade hickory available for comfort and durability.  Blades are made from carbon steel to provide maximum wear and cutting accuracy.

Includes an adjustable sliding gauge to compensate for wear and to match other hatchets exactly.  Measures metric.  Adjustable on both sides from under 4" to over 5 5/8".  Head Weight is 19 oz.
B. 002-SG100 Roofing Hatchet 
Our best selling hatchet.  Stationary screw gauge can be set for 4", 5", or 5 5/8" shingle exposure.  Head weight is 18 oz.
C. 001-ASG27S 
Perfect hatchet for roofers who do not apply wider metric shingles.  Measures standard.  Adjustable sliding gauge on both sides from 4" to 5".  Head weight is 17 oz.
D. 000-LS22 Roofing Hatchet 
For roofers who use staples or do not use a gauge.  Great for lightweight cutting and nailing uses.  Head weight is 12 oz.
E. 003-WSG Wood Shingling Hatchet 
Designed for applying wood shingles and shakes.  Stationary gauge can be set for 4 1/2", 5", or 5 5/8" exposure.  Cutting edge is 2 1/8" wide.  Head weight is 21 oz.
